Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Black Bubble, LLC (“Black Bubble,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit our website or interact with us. We are a Pennsylvania limited liability company, and this site is intended for a United States audience.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
When you submit a contact form, complete a diagnostic or assessment on the site, request resources, or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes business contact details and firmographic information about you and your company, such as your name, business email address, company name, job title or role, and any information you include in your message or responses.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, the links you click, and the website that referred you. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 2).
We collect business and firmographic information from prospective and current clients. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, or health information) through this website, and we ask that you not submit such information to us through the site.
2. Cookies & tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, understand how it is used, and improve it. These fall into two general categories:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function and for basic security. These cannot be turned off through our site.
- Analytics and performance cookies — used to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site. We currently use analytics tools provided by Google and LinkedIn for this purpose.
We do not currently use cookies to serve you targeted advertising. If we begin using advertising or retargeting technologies in the future, those technologies may share identifiers with advertising platforms (such as Google or LinkedIn) to deliver ads across other websites. Under certain U.S. state privacy laws — notably California’s — that activity may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money is exchanged. Where that applies, we will provide an opt-out as described in Section 5.
Global Privacy Control. We honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) transmitted by your browser. Where applicable, we treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for that browser.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
- Communicate with you about our services, including sending materials and updates you have asked to receive;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website;
- Understand how visitors use the site through analytics;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
- Protect the rights, property, and safety of Black Bubble, our users, and others.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share information only as described below:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that process it on our behalf, under contract, including our customer relationship management platform (HubSpot), analytics providers (Google, LinkedIn), email and communications tools, and hosting providers.
- Payment processors. We do not accept payments directly through this website and do not collect or store your full payment card details here. Payments, where applicable, are handled by third-party processors such as Stripe and our banking partner, Mercury, under their own terms and privacy practices.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Black Bubble or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
As noted in Section 2, if we adopt advertising or retargeting technologies in the future, the resulting disclosure of identifiers to advertising platforms may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. We will provide an opt-out where required.
5. Your choices & rights
Marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message, or by contacting us. We may still send you non-promotional messages related to your requests or our services.
Cookies and tracking. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and can transmit a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor as described in Section 2.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under your state’s privacy laws — such as the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, to obtain a copy of it, or to opt out of certain processing. The specific rights available to you depend on the laws of your state and whether they apply to us. To exercise any rights, or if you have questions, contact us at josh@blackbubble.io. We will respond consistent with applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our business relationship with you, and to meet our legal, accounting, and contractual obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
9. Children’s privacy
This site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. U.S. processing
Black Bubble is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed here, where data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
